neil a49f8c1992 mydevil: replace BSD-only cut -w with tr + plain cut ...

cut -w (split on whitespace) is a FreeBSD extension unknown to GNU
coreutils; squeeze blanks into tabs with tr first so the field
extraction is POSIX.
